We have just returned from a big family holiday at Cobram. Weather sunny and hot each day. Hours and hours spent by the pool. My four year old basically spent the whole holiday teaching herself to swim under water. So proud of her! There were so many things to explore around Cobram or near Cobram, it was a pity the weather was just so hot. Which meant that any outings really needed to be done very early in the day or later at night. A few of the best things to see was Thompsons Beach ( on the Murray) a great place to
meet international travelers and the biggest cactus garden we have ever seen just out of Cobram on the Murray Valley Highway. The water park at Yarrawonga was fantastic for the kids. The water slide and water fountains had them entertained for ages. I have been converted - caravan parks are a haven for children to holiday - just allow me the air conditioned comfort of an apartment or cabin.
